This route takes you from bustling Copenhagen to Denmark’s second-largest city. The route offers charming views of the bridge landscapes between Zealand, Funen, and Jutland – including the impressive Storebælt Bridge.
Aarhus itself is a city where history and modernity go hand in hand. Particularly worthwhile: the ARoS art museum with its iconic rainbow panorama on the roof, the open-air museum ‘Den Gamle By’, where you can stroll through centuries of Danish city history, and the young, creative neighbourhoods around the Latin Quarter.If you like, cycle on to the sea – for example, to the harbour district of Aarhus Ø or the long beach at Moesgaard.
2. Through the heart of Jutland: Aarhus – Herning – Struer
